Proper American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard Palm and Tree Trimming:
These standards include establishing a trimming objective, never topping or lion tailing, and limiting pruning to no more than 25% to 30% of the total tree in a single year. Some examples include:
Dead Wood Removal: Branches that have died and are no longer actively growing should be removed as soon as possible, as they can pose a hazard.
Light Shaping: Strategically removing branches to improve light penetration and circulation.
End Weight Reduction: Decreasing the weight of branches to minimize breaking, especially during storms.
Fertilizing and Other Treatments: Regular fertilization can increase the life of your trees.
Proper Nursery Selection and Planting: Strong structure, and a quality root system are some of the characteristics my arborists look for.
Diagnosis of Tree Issues: Observe the signs and symptoms on your trees that can indicate diseases, environmental stressors, and pests.
Tree Removal: We try to find solutions to help you keep your trees. However, if you need this service, you can rely on us to complete the job safely, accurately, and efficiently.
Stump Grinding: We offer this as an optional service. Not only is it an eyesore, but a potential hazard. You won’t even know there was a stump there!
Rope Access Tree Work: We have several expert tree climbers on staff. If you have a large tree or palm that requires rope access, cast your net no further.
Root Flare Excavation: We carefully remove soil around the root flare to help the tree to help prevent fungal and rot issues, improving it’s overall health, aesthetic and possibly it’s growth rate.
Arborist Consultations: Our qualified/certified arborist will examine your tree, identify any problems or risks, and provide expert recommendations to address specific issues.
Qualified Tree Risk Assessments: Our tree doctors will assess your tree based on the three levels of Tree Risk Assessment. Each level requires expert skills and knowledge to make sure we provide the best information and solutions possible for your tree.
